The following artists recorded for Beltona during the course of its long life (1923 - 1975). I would very much like to find out something about them if it is only their dates of birth and death. When assessing their performance it seems to me to be important that something of their life, education, work experience, cultural influences, etc; is known. Needless to say, a picture or company advertising literature referring to the artist would be very much appreciated. Most of the artists were Scots but, particularly in the post 1960 period, a great many were Irish. I know something about some of them but there are huge gaps in my knowledge, however, I will share what information I have in exchange for your help.

I have listed those artists who recorded for Beltona records under various obvious categories and indicated the date range during which they recorded for the company. Some artists appear under several different classifications. Most of the artists recorded only for Beltona but a few recorded for other companies, particularly in the period after 1960.
